This policy explains what personal data Vajra Recycling Private Limited ("Vajra Recycling", "we", "us") collects through vajrarecycling.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to information submitted through it. It does not cover QwikScrap (qwikscrap.com), our separate consumer pickup platform, which has its own policy.

We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable rules under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry or pickup request on this site, we collect:

• Your name
• Organisation name, if you provide one
• Email address
• Phone number
• The service you're enquiring about and your pickup location, if provided
• The message or details you type into the form

We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through this form, and you should not include them in a message to us. Beyond the form, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log standard technical data common to any website visit (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested), used only for security and keeping the site running, not for tracking you individually.

We do not currently run analytics, advertising pixels, or non-essential cookies on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and where consent is legally required, we will ask for it.

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit to:

• Respond to your enquiry and arrange a collection or quote
• Coordinate pickup logistics with our collection centres and field staff
• Prepare the documentation a commercial client needs, such as disposition reports, data destruction certificates and EPR-related records
• Keep an internal record of enquiries and services provided
• Meet legal or regulatory obligations, including under e-waste rules

Our basis for processing this data is your consent in submitting the form, and the steps necessary to respond to your request or perform a service you've asked for.

Where it's stored, and who sees it

Enquiry data is stored in a managed database operated by our infrastructure provider, access-controlled to authorised Vajra Recycling personnel who need it to respond to your request or deliver the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may share it with:

• Service providers who host or operate parts of this website strictly to keep it running, bound to use data only for that purpose
• Regulators or authorities, where disclosure is required by law, such as under the E-Waste Management Rules
• Our professional advisers, where necessary and under confidentiality

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver the service, and meet our own record-keeping and regulatory obligations (some e-waste and EPR documentation has statutory retention requirements), after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you can ask us to:

• Confirm what personal data of yours we hold, and share a copy of it
• Correct or update data that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Erase data we no longer have a valid reason to keep
• Withdraw consent for processing, where consent is the basis we're relying on
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity

To exercise any of these, write to info@vajrarecycling.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a request, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data submitted to us, including access controls and encrypted transmission between your browser and our servers. No system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you not to include sensitive information (passwords, financial details, ID numbers) in the enquiry form.

Children's data

This site is intended for businesses, institutions and individuals arranging e-waste collection, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
